Submit

All members of the Adams House community are welcome to submit creative writing to The Gilded Acorn for publication on our website (and potentially in print at the end of the semester). Please click here to access our submission form.

Through the form, please submit creative writing as a link to a Google Document (max. 1500 words) accessible to "anyone with the link." There will be a short editing process prior to publication. We will accept submissions on a rolling basis throughout the semester.

The Gilded Acorn welcomes a wide variety of creative writing, including (but not limited to) poetry, short fiction, opinion writing, creative/personal essays, profiles, other forms of short nonfiction, excerpts from longer works (novels, plays), etc.

We aim to accept all work submitted, in pursuit of accessibility and inclusivity. However, we reserve the ability to turn down work that may be harmful to members of the community. We do not tolerate plagiarism. Proper acknowledgements of any sources are required.
